Matilda, A Musical

We went to see Matilda, A Musical last night, at the Courtyard Theatre in Stratford upon Avon, and it was brilliant!
We especially loved (and feared) the horrific Miss Trunchbull, although Bill whispered to me very loudly -'that's a man!' as she appeared on stage...
It was a very Dahl-like production - the characters all looked like the Quentin Blake illustrations - if you're a Roald Dahl, or Tim Minchin fan, grab some tickets here (not many left!)

Sneak preview here...

Tim Minchin...

I love Tim Minchin, and not just because he's from Perth.

He's written the music for the stage production of Matilda at the RSC in Stratford upon Avon, which I really need to book our tickets for!

(And this one will make you cry...)

The Worzel Cup

It's scarecrow season in the village, and this one stopped me in my tracks!
You can't really see the scale of the thing in this photo, but the actual scarecrow is life-sized...
Where do people get the time to do this??
