French Fancies and Flowers

This morning I've been mostly eating French Fancies and doodling flowers, when I should have been hoovering, ironing and matching up 57 odd socks...

Time to get the hoover out I suppose : (

Bee Bar

Bill came home from school and made a Bee Buffet Bar - he loves bees and carries them around on the tip of his finger if he finds one in the garden! Makes me a bit nervous..
(Needless to say he hasn't been stung...yet..)
He's wedged it in the tree so it'll be easy for the bees to find :)

Bouquet

Well, the car's got a flat battery... so instead of going to the printers, I finished this new bouquet illustration.

Lavender and Marigold

I'm loving these colours together in our front garden. Thinking of taking a drive up the hill to Snowshill Lavender tomorrow, bet their fields look gorgeous at the moment.

Pressies..

Here's one of my favourite birthday presents (ever..) It would look even better if we'd painted that wall...
Check out Famille Summerbelle's wonderful website here.
(Thanks Mim! :)

And a little bunch of flowers my boys picked for me last night...

Summer?

Tomorrow is the first official day of summer, but unofficially summer has already arrived in our garden ...

Flora...

I've taken over 500 photos on this holiday and, yep, I've managed it again - not a single one of me (actually there were a couple but I deleted them... Does anyone else do this??)
These are some of my best shots of my mother in law's garden - she's got amazing succulents and huge geraniums, plus see my next post for the most impressive garden gnome / ornament collection I've ever seen!

Summer?

Flowers are springing out everywhere - our clematis has got more flowers this year than it's ever had before....
And I'm loving these blue skies!

Another lovely thing is the Junky Chicken blog, which
features my Pier Postcards here - thanks Jenny!

Have a lovely sunny weekend - I've got a stall at St Mary's School Fete tomorrow (on the village green in Broadway, Worcestershire, from 11 til 3 - if you're in the area pop by!)
