Weston-Super-Mare

I made this collage of Weston for my sister for Christmas - I think she liked it!
I'm in a very productive mood at the moment - it's that New Year surge of energy - don't know how long it'll last so I'm cracking on with lots of speculative work for my portfolio - I'll share some with you later in the week.
I've also had a bit of a cleaning frenzy today which is very unusual! (and very satisfying :-)

Thankyou cards

This is a simple idea for thankyou or any occasion cards - cut and glue a flowerpot shaped piece of paper on to a blank card (this is what Boden catalogues were created for) and ask your child to draw flowers growing out of the pots.

Job done.

2012 - it's going to be a good one!

Happy New Year people!

We got home today after a week by the sea.....

We had Christmas day at my sister's lovely house then we went to stay in our cosy caravan in North Devon...

There were crabs...

Shell collecting...

Murky beaches...

Surfboard injuries..

Lots of chips...

And a very tired dog!

2012 - bring it on!

Ho Ho Ho!

This is Mark when he was little with quite a friendly looking Santa - I have another photo where he's a bit smaller and the Santa is frankly terrifying...

Christmas in shorts and t-shirts looks quite appealing at the moment - we had about half a foot of hail last night - yuck!

Pre-Christmas Syndrome

We've just been to smallest Moody's first nativity and I started crying when they sang Away in a Manger - anyone else feeling a bit over emotional at the moment?

I also decided December was the perfect time to have five inches of my hair cut off - cold neck...brrrr...

And all our electrical appliances are rebelling against us- the washing machine refused to open it's door for three days, our reverse cycle air con in the kitchen has given up the ghost -oh - and I've managed to lose the memory card out of my camera........

On the bright side - presents are nearly sorted and we managed to find a Christmas Tree for under £30!
