A Day in the Caravan

While Mark pottered around fixing the important bits of the caravan (water, gas, mudguards etc.), the boys watched Bee Movie and I put my feet up with a cuppa and a packet of custard creams.

(I also tried to teach Bill to play Scrabble but he cheats like crazy..)

We bought a caravan!

My God we're getting old- we had a sudden urge to buy a caravan....

No hanging around in the Moody house - so here it is - it's a bit mid-80s in decor... but it's going to be lovely and cosy for winter camping

We're taking it down in a couple of weeks to it's new home in Devon and I'm planning it's transformation into a 'Cool caravan'!

Birthday card designs and spinning wheels

Today I've been working on some birthday card designs...

This weekend's beachcombing finds- Bill found the bottle stopper -we were very excited!

IF: Silent

The 11th November is Remembrance Day here in the UK- we wear Poppies and have two minutes silence at 11am- the time of the signing of the Armistice at the end of the First World War.

That's an awful lot of 11's today!

Scrap flowers

Just having a little play with some flower sketches I did this afternoon - I was so engrossed in drawing that I forgot to pick the boys up from school - I was 10 minutes late and they were getting a bit stressed - oops...

Autumnal

This was on Sunday.

Today is grey and dark... and the power went off for three hours - it's amazing how much you can get done when the electric's off and there are no distractions!
