It's
World Book Day today, so I thought I'd share our current Top Five Books!
Number 1 - one of my all-time favourites, Richard Scarry's Busy, Busy World - loads of action packed illustrations, and it's educational too!

Number 2 - Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's Tabby McTat. Great to read aloud and lovely detailed illustrations.

Number 3 - Fix-it Duck (closely followed by Duck in a Truck, Captain Duck and Super Duck..)

Number 3 - Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers - a popular choice for bed-time! Click on the pic to check out the great animation too..

Number 5 - Flat Stanley - one of my favourite books when I was little, so I grabbed the new edition when I saw it in Waterstones - my boys love it as much as I did.
I used to love the Richard Scarry books. We used them to help learn Italian when we lived abroad, your post brought back some fond memories.
