Summer Christmas?

A slightly surreal moment this morning - whilst walking around the supermarket in my shorts and t-shirt I found myself singing along to White Christmas...
I'm slowly coming to terms with the idea of a summer Christmas - it just isn't normal but I'm sure it will be very nice in it's own way!

(I popped some mince pies in my trolley on the way to the checkout - Coles own, not Mr Kipling's - too expensive...)

  1. For me it is hard to imagine Christmas without mangoes and cicadas and sweltering heat and sleeping with only sheets and evening storms. Makes me happy (:

  3. I remember my first Christmas back in NZ after leaving the UK - has taken a while to get used to it again. Find I make an extra effort to make the house feel Christmasy. x
