I entered a couple of photos in the Tigerprint Floral photography competition and have just found out this photo was a runner-up! (Recognise it from this post?)
What a nice start to the day! Off to trawl through some charity shops to celebrate :)
Oooh sunshine! I'd just got into Autumn mode and was looking forward to wearing my new boots and one of the many scarves I've crocheted, when the sun comes back to give us a second chance :)
These are some new postcard/print designs I've been working on - there are tiny bits of paper all over the house now...
I'm feeling a bit empty-nest-ish. I know my children haven't left home.. they're only 4 and 6 - but they do trot off happily to school each morning now, leaving me feeling a bit lonely...
How sad! I miss having a small companion following me around, pointing out interesting cloud formations and dogs.
And always wanting feeding.
I'm only four days in to 'big school' so I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Anyone else missing their little treasures? Or, more sensibly, enjoying the peace!
I enjoyed my summer photography challenge- though I didn't find it too challenging to take a photo a day - some days the challenge was choosing which photo to use.
Autumn is going to be about crochet and cooking I think.
In that order.
I've finished a couple of scarves, now I'm attempting a hat - I've undone it several times to figure out how to make it hat-shaped! However it turns out, there should be a head in the family it fits (hopefully)..
