Bouquet

Well, the car's got a flat battery... so instead of going to the printers, I finished this new bouquet illustration.

Everyone else is sleeping off the chocolate... so I took the chance to do a couple more tea cups- I think they'd make a nice set of notecards, on a matt textured card - what do you think?

Busy...

I'm pretty busy at the moment with personalised boat and beach hut orders - I'm very grateful for them, and I do enjoy making them - especially when they include extra little details - like these three above!

However, this busy period coincides with the Easter holidays, so I'm getting a bit stressed juggling orders, bored children who just want to go to the park.. and my part-time job....

So, I've decided to stop selling boats and beach huts on-line directly - they will only be available through the lovely Interiors@Tides website... and hopefully I can find a good balance in life!

(Can you tell I have a low stress threshold.....!?)

This collage is made of bits and pieces I've accumulated on my journeys - a Spanish newspaper, a Norwegian stamp - some security envelopes and of course, a Boden catalogue!

Nice birds

I love this recycled bird mobile from BabongoHome on Etsy - it's made from fused plastic bags - looks like it would flutter really nicely in a breeze!

Hot Dog!

This is our daft dog - I thought she was going to drop dead of heat exhaustion and she refused to move into the shade.. So I threw a wet towel over her and she seems quite happy!

I've been a bit busy this week - making these...

A whole village of little houses - a wholesale order from a lovely shop in Guernsey called Evie and Me - they also stock my cards and beach huts.

I've got to go now - we're having our first barbie of the year! Got to make the most of the sunshine... :)
