Blue Sky in Devon
We went to Woolacombe in the van for the weekend -and apart from a rocky start when Mark locked the keys in the house and then got wedged in the dogflap trying to retrieve them...we had a nice time!

Snapdragon
Look what I got in the post today....
One for me, one for my mum's birthday - if you haven't already heard of Snapdragon, they're a little Scottish company creating lovely hand-made textile items - have a look at their website here, and don't blame me if you end up spending some money :)

Dot
This has cheered me up on a drizzly dark morning - a tiny animation from Aardman -
Found via the Kickcan & Conkers blog - well worth a look!

Ace of Cakes
Ughhh, I hate mornings - especially after having a very long dream about covering a bus in blue fondant icing - that's what happens if you stay up until midnight to watch Ace of Cakes... I love Duff!

Dog and legs
A little bit inspired by Elliott Erwitt ...
- every small dog should have a woolly jumper and matching beret..

Creative Campden
Bill and I picked up our friend Karen and went to Chipping Campden for the afternoon to have a look at 'Creative Campden'
We especially enjoyed the cooking demonstration at Robert Welch (except maybe the bit where he pulled the guts out of the partridge..), and these gorgeous paintings by Paul Wright at Campden Gallery.
(loving the Orla Kiely duvet cover in the last one!)

Surf
Just been looking through Mark's Surfer's Path and found a few nice photos - the one below is by Jack Brull - a NY based photographer and surfer who uses 'lo-fi' cameras to capture his surfing shots - he has a blog here
I also love the photos of Clark Little - have a look here

Woo hoo - empty house!!
I have the house to myself for the first time since.... July!!
And what am I doing with my precious child-free time?
Yep. Ebay and The Gilmore Girls.
Oh, and photographing Mr Apple and Mr Onion for the boys - I think Mr Apple looks cuter now his mouth has fallen off..

Croyde
We went down to Croyde on Sunday for the day, and yes, it rained. A lot..
But that's the way it should be in North Devon - in my family we call it 'Combe Martin weather' after many damp holidays spent visiting my granny who lived there.
If you too love North Devon you can still snap up this Beach Hut here
