Flying Down Under...

Like this bird - 'British Bird unaware he's flown to Australia' by Jane Ormes- we're flying Down Under tomorrow - packing panic has set in...
So it's goodbye for now, although I'll try to do some Aussie blogs while we're there!
Shops will re-open on the 21st June!
(Wish us good luck for the flight with a three and five year old... ughhh...:)

A fleet of boats

I've just packed this fleet of boats up to send to the Forge2 Gallery for their summer exhibition, Festival
I'm very happy to have my boats included in such talented company as the fabulous Aardvark and Andy Povey
It promises to be a bright and breezy exhibition, so if you're in the Northampton / Oxfordshire area, pop in and have a look!

Another lovely thing is the Junky Chicken blog, which
features my Pier Postcards here - thanks Jenny!

Have a lovely sunny weekend - I've got a stall at St Mary's School Fete tomorrow (on the village green in Broadway, Worcestershire, from 11 til 3 - if you're in the area pop by!)

Barbie - Moody style..

Had the second barbeque of the year yesterday on our new barbie! (Well, new oil drum - the old one rusted through..)
And of course there were marshmallows for pudding..

I love Ed Boxall's lino prints, especially the ones inspired by camping trips with his family - our boys have a fascination with fire as well... have a look at Ed's prints here.

Polaroids

While looking through some old photos I found these polaroids from circa 1999 (when I was young, sniff...)
I had a polaroid camera for my 21st and spent the final weeks of my second year at uni wandering around Bearwood (Birmingham) taking very expensive photos of the sky, trees and other random things...

Sky...

Tree...

Sky...

The door to my fire escape - my room was in the attic.
Ah, happy days! (going on ebay now to look at polaroid film :)

Chitty Chitty...

We went to stay with my sister and her boyfriend in Manchester at the weekend, and went to see....

It was really good and we especially liked the acting dogs!
We had a great weekend - thanks Mim :)
