Sewing success!

With a lot of help from Poppy Treffry's 'Free and Easy Stitch Style' (one of my favourite Christmas pressies) I managed to sew this beach hut doorstop.
I'm very proud of the fact that it's quite square and hasn't fallen apart yet... I'm all inspired now and planning my next project!

Snow Lady

A Snow Lady has appeared in our garden.
She looked a bit chilly so I lent her a hat and scarf.

The snow's melting... so here's one last snowy pic, taken yesterday as I took Molly for a walk- she wasn't keen, she wanted to get home and lie in front of the fire instead.
Very sensible.

More Snow...

Yep, we had a bit more snow in the night... I'm no longer jealous of the rest of the country!

Snow!

Yay, we got some snow! We must be the last place in the UK to have snow and after excited phonecalls and the village school closing early at one, it.............stopped snowing.

Still, it's white outside and there's a tiny snowman in the garden!

Happy 2010!

On Boxing Day we got up early and rushed down to North Devon - we had a great week with lots of surfing, rock climbing, getting wet in rock pools and eating way too much...
