Well - I was feeling pretty depressed about the state of the world, and more specifically the state of the country... but a lovely parcel was waiting for me at home which has restored some of my faith in human nature!

I entered a competition to win some tea-related goodies from 'From the Wilde' and I won - lovely teas, a mug and picture from Quite Contrary Crafts and a gorgeous badge and tea towel from Poppy Treffry (which I think I'll frame - it's far too nice to use as a tea towel)

Today we went to Weston Super Mare and it was quite a bit sunnier than when we went last year! I have freckles I've never seen before.. (freckly feet - yikes!)
